1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to denleatherrepair.com and to information you provide directly to Den Leather Repair through website forms, phone calls, text messages, email, and service-related communications.
It does not control the privacy practices of websites or services operated by other companies. Those providers apply their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Name, telephone or WhatsApp number, email address, city, ZIP code, and service address if you provide one.
- The type of service requested and your description of the damaged furniture, vehicle seat, or other item.
- Photos, videos, and other content you send by text or email for an estimate.
- Appointment details, service history, invoices, warranty communications, feedback, and other messages.
Photos can accidentally show license plates, home interiors, documents, faces, or other personal details. Please crop or remove information you do not want us to receive.
The quote forms do not ask for Social Security numbers, government identification, payment-card information, medical information, or other highly sensitive data. Please do not submit that information through a form, text, or email.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, we and our service providers may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, approximate region, date and time, interactions with forms and contact buttons, and technical or security logs.
Advertising attribution information
The website may collect campaign parameters such as GCLID, GBRAID, WBRAID, UTM source, medium, campaign, term, and content, together with the first landing page and referring page. Our site stores this attribution information in browser local storage for up to 90 days and may include it with a quote request so we can understand which advertising produced the inquiry.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Review damage, prepare an estimate, respond to questions, and schedule service.
- Contact you about the quote or service request you initiated.
- Provide, document, improve, and support our services, including warranty follow-up.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website.
- Measure website activity, advertising performance, and lead attribution.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents.
- Maintain business records and comply with legal, tax, insurance, and accounting obligations.
4. Quote forms and communications
Website quote forms are processed by Formspree. When you submit a form, the information entered in the form and related technical or attribution information is transmitted to Formspree and then delivered to us. Formspree may also process details such as IP address, browser type, access time, and referring address for delivery, security, abuse prevention, and service operation.
By submitting a quote form and providing a telephone number or email address, you ask and permit Den Leather Repair to contact you by call, text, or email about that quote or service request. Message and data rates may apply. A quote request does not subscribe you to recurring promotional text messages. You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
If you call, text, or email us directly, your telephone carrier, messaging application, or email provider will also process the communication under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Cookies, local storage, analytics, and advertising
The website uses Google Tag Manager to manage measurement and advertising tags. Depending on the active tag configuration, Google Analytics or Google Ads may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, page and interaction information, and similar technologies to measure visits and conversions. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites and review Google's Privacy Policy.
Our custom conversion-tracking code records form and contact-button events and advertising attribution. It is designed not to send the contents of your name, telephone, email, or message fields to Google's data layer.
The site also uses local browser storage for advertising attribution, as described above. You can delete this information by clearing site data in your browser. Blocking cookies or storage may reduce measurement accuracy but should not prevent you from calling, texting, or emailing us.
Google Fonts, OpenStreetMap map tiles, Leaflet resources, and content-delivery providers may receive technical request data, such as IP address, browser information, and the page making the request, when those resources load. You can review the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.
6. How we share information
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:
- Form processing, hosting, email, telephone, analytics, advertising, security, accounting, and other vendors that help us operate the business.
- Professional advisers, insurers, or authorities when reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, respond to legal process, or comply with law.
- A buyer or successor if the business or its assets are reorganized, sold, or transferred, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell or rent your contact information for money, and we do not disclose it to unrelated businesses for their own direct marketing.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. The period depends on whether the information relates to an unanswered inquiry, completed service, warranty, accounting record, dispute, security issue, or legal requirement. Advertising attribution stored by our website in your browser is set to expire after 90 days unless you clear it earlier.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No website, email, text-message system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether the applicable law covers our processing, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or qualifying profiling, and to appeal a decision on a privacy request.
To make a request, email info@denleatherrepair.com with the subject Privacy Request, or call (983) 215-0881. Describe your request and the contact information you previously used. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. If applicable, an authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authority. To appeal a denied request, use the same email address with the subject Privacy Appeal.
You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser. You can also manage Google advertising choices through My Ad Center or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
9. Children's privacy
This website and our services are intended for adults seeking repair services. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, vendors, or practices change. The revised page will show a new Last updated date. Material changes will be communicated in another reasonable way when required by law.
